Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Awards Over $30,000 in Grants

Centerville, MA, October, 2008 -- The Board of Directors of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 Fall Grant Awards. Twenty-one local artists and cultural organizations will receive a total of $30,850 in grants.
"These much-needed funds are distributed by the Arts Foundation to arts organizations and individual artists twice each year, helping to maintain the region's reputation as a world-class cultural destination," said Margaret Van Sciver, Board President of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. "This grant program is the only one of its kind in the region focused entirely on supporting the arts and culture of Cape Cod. We are proud to support the growing and expanding creative economy here by supporting these worthy projects."
Arts Foundation of Cape cod grants are awarded to support projects that are collaborative and educational; that help create a strong, stable, and diverse cultural community on Cape Cod; and that contribute to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region.
