Solstice Day Spa Moves Downtown

Hyannis -- November 21, 2008 :Solstice Day Spa has relocated from their previous location in Independence Park to the spa level at Puritan Cape Cod’s flagship store at 408 Main Street, Hyannis. The new 3100 square foot spa features a complete hair salon; nail bar and pedicure station for three people; makeup counter; wax room; two massage and two facial rooms in addition to the Sanctuary relaxation room and steam room.



Twenty-eight beauty, wellness and customer care professionals are employed at this new facility. They are dedicated to providing the most advanced techniques of hair cut and color design, facial rejuvenation; natural nail therapy and various wellness modalities including hot stone massage.



Future monthly and seasonal events will include a men’s executive package of grooming; manicure and a move night, psychic readings and a women’s expo on Super Bowl Sunday in addition to their annual Make Over contest.



The Grand Opening VIP invitation-only celebration on November 20, 2008, kicked off with a ribbon cutting by the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce at 4pmn, and continued until 8 pm with wine tasting from Luke’s Liquors and light refreshments from Naked Oyster.



Co-owners Sheryl Baba and Kimberlee Schuler invited guests to tour the facility and enter drawings for prizes such as a Solstice Day of Beauty valued at $350; a Puritan Cape Cod gift certificate for $200; gift certificate to Alberto’s Ristorante and a $200 Guertin Brother’s Jewelers gift certificate. A portion of the retail and gift certificate sales throughout the Open House weekend will be donated to the Cape and Islands United Way.
